Is it possible to be able to see without glasses?

Many today are realizing that there is much we can do to improve our eyesight early on and therefore virtually eliminate the need for glasses. Oftentimes vision problems are the result of vitamin and mineral deficiencies or poor coordination of eye muscles. What can be done? Here are a few ideas:

Pay close attention to your diet

Learn how to exercise your eyes

Find out what other products can be safely used

Drink plenty of filtered water

A little wine can protect your vision

How can this be done? First of all, learn which foods contain the vitamins and minerals needed to maintain healthy eyes and more than that how they should be prepared. There are a great variety of foods with these nutrients so you are not limited to just a few. For example, we all know that green leafy vegetables are rich in many vitamins but so are root vegetables like potatoes. Eating fresh fruits like cherries, nuts and dairy products contribute to diet for improved eyesight.

Many have never heard of eye exercises. How can this help? Think of the strain on our eyes when we focus on one object for a long time. Hours of TV viewing and time spent at the computer can contribute to straining our eye muscles. Did you know that exercises have been developed to relax these muscles which in turn improve the link between the optic nerves and the brain. Learn about these. There are a number of different ones available.

What else can be done? Many people today realize they may not be getting enough nourishing foods because of the way they are processed or their unavailability during certain times of the year. They have found that taking supplements in the form of extracts, liquids, capsules, etc. have helped them. Among these are chlorophyll, bilberry extract, and turmeric.
