Being Frugal: 4 Cost Cutting Tips To Saving On Improving Your Eyesight

Everyone is looking to save money with the state of the economy we are living with. What about saving money while improving your eyesight?

Here are a few tips on how to do that:

  1. Stop eating out so much and start packing a lunch containing foods that improve your eyesight. Use kale for a salad instead of traditional iceberg lettuce. (Iceberg lettuce is devoid of any nutrition. Try cutting up some carrots for a snack.
  2. Don’t buy designer eye glasses. Clark Howard consumer Guru based out of Atlanta suggests buying them wholesale over the internet. He describes buying a basic prescription glasses  for only $8.00
  3. Try eyesight exercises before going the more expensive route of lasik surgery. Sure it may cost you $99 but that is a whole lot cheaper then surgery! Plus it has a money back guarantee. How many surgeons do you know that offer that.
  4. Price around for your laser surgery. In this economy surgeons are often willing to have “specials” or promotions that can save you money. Ask about their referral fee program too. You might get a better deal if you team up with someone else and have the procedure together.
